Nekocon 2005
Hilarious story behind this one--
I'd been planning to go to Nekocon in '05, and was thrilled out-of-my-mind that Jerry Jewell was on the list. Suddenly, Jerry got removed from the list! TT.TT (he was later re-added! :3)
I was ranting two days later to a friend of mine about Jerry getting removed from the list, and somehow I mentioned how cool it would be to meet Sonny Strait... That very afternoon, guess who showed up on the list. XD
(Jerry was later re-added though! *heart* I got to meet both of 'em! 8D)
Anyhow, I managed to catch up with him after a "voice-actor improv" session, and ta-da! :3 I finally got to meet one of my favorite VAs! ^___^
I gave him a print of this chibi-Hughes, a print of "Why Hughes is the Way He Is", and later gave him a handmade bobblehead of Hughes. He called me "Artist-girl" for the rest of the weekend. :3
