Okay. Animators....are....SADISTIC.
When I bought these, I'd thought that I'd come across the EXACT douga sequence set that matches my "Proud son of Gyumaoh..." layout/genga set! (SCORE!!)
Key word there= THOUGHT.
Turns out this douga set IS from the same episode, but this set is cut 82, whilst the other set is cut 215. (WHAT TH--??)
Oh well. They KINDA match my other set.
And they're pretty. :3 And I got a nice studio folder with a neat "Gensomaden Saiyuki" label sticker on it. ^_____^ Whee.
(besides, I still see abs. So WOO-HOO. :3)
The main layer, there, (the one of Kou himself-- the other 3 layers are just mouth sequence sheets. I digitally merged the first mouth sketch to the Kou layer in the image there) has what may very-well be among the most BEAUTIFUL shading of any douga in my production art collection! (Being a douga, it's all on the back, I mean. But flip it over and-- GORGEOUS!!! They used 4 different colors for his shading patterns! *lol*)
