A beautiful, small cut of sketches from episode 15, from the sentimental flashback when Sanzo and Goku have come to arrest Cho Gonou --pre-monacle-- for his demon-massacre crimes. Here, Gonou is defending himself from one of their first attacks.
I'm not sure what kept drawing me back to this sketch at Anime Museum, but I always seemed to love it, even before knowing the scene it was from... ^^ Maybe it's because the pose was so dynamic? The gorgeous lineart & coloring? Or maybe it's because it emphasizes how adorably skinny he is? Or because he looks so damn good in a dress shirt. XD
...
(I have a thing for slightly-skinny guys, I guess. And guys in dress-shirts.)
