Why? WHY do I keep torturing myself? *sniffles*
Horrible scene as it may be, this set of douga sketches goes along with my genga set of the same cut that I got a couple weeks earlier, plus it was very reasonably priced, so I couldn't pass it up.
(though, this set is even worse than the matching genga set, in my opinion. Both sets have the Kaien-carnage, but this one shows the little trickle of blood from Ukitake's mouth which wasn't shown in the genga)
It's extremely faint on the scans, but there's a little red-tinted haze on Ukitake & Kaiens' head & shoulders, and little red flecks on Kaien's body (supposed to be raindrops bouncing off).
